Our firm was created in 1989 when Joseph Marshall partnered with H.W. Lapointe Insurance Agency, a well known local property and casualty agency, to provide financial services products to their clients and help them to expand their client base in the Fall River, New Bedford and North Attleboro markets. Both companies shared space at 1777 Pleasant Street in Fall River until 2001 when J. Marshall Associates purchased its own building located at their current location of 982 Eastern Avenue, Fall River. With a primary focus of the following disciplines:
All associates are licensed to conduct business in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island and maintain continuing education requirements respectivley.
We are an independent financial service firm. We represent stable, progressive and reliable insurance companies such as Jackson National, Prudential, Sun Life, Allianz Life, Pacific Life and others allowing us to provide our clients with insurance protection at competitive prices. We are registered to conduct “fee based” investment analysis and to create a financial plan.
We are also committed to our slogan, “Service is not just a word, it’s our word.”
